Pensacola Opens Nation's First Far-Infrared Clinic

IntroCell, LLC, has opened in Pensacola as the nation’s first far infrared therapy clinic.

According to Jodie Mollohan, MPS Certified Far Infrared Therapist and owner of IntroCell, far infrared therapy is the only known therapy that can rid the body of harmful toxins and metals such as benzene, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), diesel exhaust, hair dyes, mineral oils, painting materials, lead, arsenic, mercury, aluminum, nickel, and cadmium. "Far infrared will continually push the toxins out via fresh water channels within the cellular and tissue matrix and allow toxins in the cytoplasm and protoplasm to be released which are in an ocean of salt water," according to Dr. Hildegarde Staninger, upon whose renowned toxicology work far infrared therapy is based. Extensively researched and documented, far infrared therapy is authorized by many insurance companies.

Meet Dr. Hildegarde Staninger

Dr. Staninger’s credentials are extensive, spanning decades, agencies, and nations.

  • She is a leading international industrial toxicologist and technical scientific advisor to private corporations and governmental agencies, and a Fellow of the World Life Research Institute.
  • After the Gulf War, she was asked by the US Army to lecture throughout Germany on the toxic effects of the Kuwait Oil Field Fires and the initiation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
  • Her international environmental best seller, The Comprehensive Handbook of Hazardous Materials: Regulations, Handling, Monitoring and Safety is the approved text for the University of Wisconsin’s 40 hour Hazardous Material Training Program.
  • She developed and patented biological monitoring tests that have been approved for aiding the medical and emergency response community during terrorist attack and hazardous material/mass weapons of destruction exposures.
  • She is a technical advisor to the US EPA for the toxicological effects of hazardous materials exposure on earth worms and their treatment. Her work is being incorporated into state of the art technology in solid waste disposal, landfills, soil and water remediation, and vermiculture.
  • Dr. Staninger has received two Presidential Awards from Mr. Walter Lowry, Martin Marietta Orlando Aerospace President, for her work involving "Pregnant Women in the Workplace" and the "Increased Risk of Genetic Mutations in Contaminated Ground Water."
  • Her integrative medicine technologies are being utilized on individual need bases, such as homeopathics from earthworm castings, oak vinegars, enzymes for cellular replication, and far infrared therapy.

What Is Far Infrared Therapy?

An explanation of far infrared therapy is best provided by Dr. Staninger, herself. As she explains,

"Any object that has a temperature (radiates heat) emits infrared energy or IR. Infrared is usually divided into three spectral regions: near, mid, and far infrared (FIR). FIR is the safest and the most beneficial electromagnetic energy source among all the different types of energy that come from the sun. Extensive biological research has proven that FIR wavelengths between 4-16 microns are most beneficial to the human body and consequently are known as physiological energy, or Bio-Genetic energy. If you put your hands on top of each other (but do not allow them to touch), and spin them fast like a tumble weed in a western movie, then stop them and bring the palms near each other but do not let them touch, you will feel radiant heat – this is far infrared energy. Palm healing, an ancient tradition in China, has used the healing properties of infrared rays for 3,000 years. Yogis in India also employ palm healing and recommend it especially for relieving eyestrain.

"Basically all celestial objects and living organisms emit some infrared. When a person is ill they lose radiant heat within their body. This process may be viewed as losing light within ones body as seen in chemical luminescence tests, which are currently being used to aid in the treatment of many chronic diseases. At times, the infrared energy in our tissues may require a boost to a higher level to ensure the fullest healing possible for tissue repair. Body tissues that need an infrared boost selectively absorb infrared rays. The tissue will use only the infrared rays in the areas where it is needed. After boosting a tissue’s infrared energy, the remaining rays pass onward harmlessly. This phenomenon is called resonant absorption."

How Is FIR Therapy Administered?

This resonant absorption of FIR is the technology offered by IntroCell, LLC. Using either a therapy room resembling a sauna or a massage bed that produces far infrared both above and below the patient, a therapy session results in increased fundamental energy within the body as molecules of various cells are excited. The immediate result is increased blood flow, which increases nutritional exchange between cells. Medical compounds are delivered more efficiently, and healthier cells aggressively push out toxins, which are washed away from the body in perspiration. Natural healing of the body is enhanced through this increased cellular integrity and detoxification.

Jodie’s Story

The story of how a far infrared clinic came to be established in Pensacola begins with the story of owner Jodie Mollohan. On September 16, 2002, Jodie was in an automobile accident involving a drunk driver and a 68 mph collision. The accident left her with brain and spinal cord injuries. After sixteen months of traditional therapy, Jodie could not count past six, she could not see colors, and she had no sense of taste or smell. Doctors informed her that her brain injury could not be reversed and signed papers authorizing 100% disability. A well-known motivational speaker and previous owner of a successful health energy and weight loss business, Jodie was not willing to accept the diagnosis, nor were those who knew Jodie. " I wanted me back," she says.

In an effort to help, Jodie’s story was placed on the internet. Soon, she received a phone call she still remembers, which began with, "Hi, my name is Hildy. Tell me more about your story." The conversation led to the recommendation of specific nutritionals to help cellular recovery, along with far infrared therapy to provide an enhanced delivery system for those nutritionals. Within weeks, Jodie began receiving comments on her progress. She could think and reason; she could remember things. Within a few months, Jodie states, "I had me back."

It was only weeks later that Jodie discovered that her friend, Hildy, was not only a doctor, but a world renowned environmental and industrial toxicologist. "I wanted to be involved more," Jodie relates. "I wanted to know what else far infrared could do, and how I could use it to help others." With the mentorship of Dr. Staninger, Jodie established IntroCell, LLC, the first and so far only far infrared therapy clinic in the country. Soon IntroCell will share its exclusive status, though, as Dr. Staninger prepares to open her own far infrared clinic, the Morean, in Los Angeles.

Far infrared therapy’s benefits extend beyond detoxification and brain injury. The positive effects of the treatment are being seen daily with an ever-growing list of health conditions.
